Monna Terra, Wellness between Hill and Sea

About Us

Monna Terra, since 2019

Arriving in the Marche, was like a landing place after much sailing.

Although we knew nothing about agriculture, we had decided for our future that we would dedicate ourselves to learning how to return to the land. So we started a two-year search to find the right place. When we crossed the barrier of access to the property for sale, in 2018, it was love at first sight: the look ranged to the sea, the hills around green and sunny, the farmhouse that silently resigned told ancient stories of peasant life, the olive grove that proud and overbearing asked to return to see the light, the land that traded abundance in exchange for care and nourishment. The project was colossal, but we had a lot to give and the land promised a lot in return.

The discovery of Fermano, with its medieval villages, its still wild beaches, the villages on the coast full of life but especially the Fermani, sunny, sincere and hospitable, have removed any shadow of doubt and we understood that this must be The Place.

The farm “Monna Terra” was born in 2019 making its way through the hostile clods of the months of pandemic, which have put everything to the test: the renovation of the farmhouse, the start of the agricultural part, as well as energy and hope. But “the winner is a dreamer who never gave up,” said Nelson Mandela, and we kept dreaming. Today we are small, just born, with a long way to go, but with broad shoulders and the experience of those who learned to float during the storm.

Our territory

Torre di Palme: the gem of the Marche

Don’t get us wrong, ours is not parochialism. Ours is the love of those who have traveled a lot and found a magical place, thanks to its location.

Torre di Palme is immersed in the soft and quiet hills that descend to the sea: the Adriatic coast with crystal clear water and wild stretches, such as Marina Palmense or Marina di Altidona.
It is framed by the Sibillini Mountains with paths immersed in pristine woods, and is just minutes from dozens of charming medieval villages, such as Lapedona, Moresco, Cupra…
Here, in just one day, you can experience the bucolic hours of the farmer, relaxation and the sun of the sea, but you can also enjoy a gourmet dinner in Civitanova or S. Benedetto del Tronto, visit wineries and country festivals (ah… the delicious Maccheroncini of Campofilone!)photo galleries, museums, shops.
For the more active, there is no shortage of trendy clubs and water sports in the nearby Porto S. Giorgio.
